Protein Shamrock Shake

Craving that shamrock shake from McDonald’s but don’t want all the trash that goes in it? Have this for breakfast or midday to get by and get extra protein.

I drink this for breakfast often because it has only 312 calories and keeps me full for at least 4 hours.

I use the Pure Protein 100% Whey Vanilla Cream protien powder. It’s usually around $20 for nearly 2lbs of protein powder. It sits right in my fussy tummy and is low in fat. Every scoop has about 25g of protein. Fooducate  is an app I use to scan bar codes at grocery stores and see how healthy something is versus the extra trash and chemicals added. For this protein powder, Fooducate gives it an A-, which is incredible for the price. You can find it here on Amazon.

I add the spinach in for color, but also get extra vitamin A and iron as a result.

What  You’ll Need: 

  • 8 oz vanilla almond milk, unsweetened
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 handful spinach
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 drops pure peppermint extract
  • 3-4 ice cubes

Let’s Get Cooking:

  • Add all ingredients into a blender.
  • Blend until everything is broken down and liquified.
  • Serve and enjoy.
